AVUM Receives SeaPort-e Contract.

MALIBU, CA, May 23, 2007 -- AVUM, Inc. was awarded a SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contract in response to a solicitation by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), which will allow the Malibu, California-based firm to provide professional technology services in key functional areas of the United States Navy. The SeaPort-e program allows NAVSEA to quickly and efficiently contract for support services.

With this contract, AVUM was chosen to serve Naval facilities in the National Capital, Mid Atlantic, Southwest, and Northwest Zones -- in the areas of System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support; Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support; Quality Assurance (QA) Support; Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support; and Program Support.

"It is a privilege to be able to extend our working relationship with the United States Navy," says Randall P. Mora, AVUM’s President. The privately-held firm began providing development services and technical support to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s Information Technology Center (NITC) last year, was awarded a GSA Schedule 70 Contract in 2004, and had previously worked in support of NASA -- having contributed in a number of areas to the successful launch of Spitzer, an infrared space observatory. "The AVUM team is honored to be chosen to further apply our talent and knowledge in service to our country."
