Avum was recently contacted by the United States Air Force (USAF), United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), and the Joint Functional Component Command for Space (JFCC Space) to provide web hosting and support services for space-track.org.
Due to the importance of keeping a fail-safe website and servers, everything in the process had to be set up redundantly. Any failure in the network or servers without redundancy had the potential to cause a loss of space debris tracking data, and would thus increase the likelihood of catastrophic damage to sensitive space equipment. Thus, Avum delivered a redundant network and hardware architecture to allow JFCC to continue providing its data from a stable location for all space agencies across the globe.
