Integrated eStore

The Problem

Our client asked AVUM to develop an integrated solution for their Sales Subsidiaries department, which consists of four independent companies. The main goal of the project was to develop an Internet presence for the multiple subsidiaries, in order to offer products via an eStore. The resulting eStore had to be presented as a single unified entity, while preserving each company's individuality and independence in the background. It was also required that the solution be expandable in order to handle the future addition or consolidation of sales subsidiaries.

The AVUM Solution

Using AVUM's pre-packaged products and technology, we were able to successfully deploy our client's eStore, which now serves as the ecommerce platform used as the basis for all Internet development within the company.

Our applied solution included:

• Dedicated system architect team to design and monitor development and verify requirements
• AVUM's Java Utilities, FoundationUtilitites, EOFUtilities and TaskQue Frameworks
• AVUM Enterprise Integration Server and XML Messaging Extensions
• Enterprise Objects Frameworks (EOF)
• Oracle Enterprise Server
